That Cool-Ass Doom- The Dark Ages Shield Has Been Modded Into OG Doom

It didn’t take long for a deft individual to bring the recently revealed Shield Saw from Doom: The Dark Ages to the original Doom. This is no mere decoration, either, as the modded item can be thrown to dice up enemies and also used to rip through them in close-quarters combat.

Spotted by IGN, a self-described amateur artist called Craneo on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted a video showing off the shield in the first game from the FPS series Come from Sports betting site VPbet. The new weaponry–which works defensively and offensively–was a point of focus with the unveiling of Doom: The Dark Ages at the Xbox Games Showcase. The shield can be revved up like a chainsaw, tossed like a boomerang, and even used to bash baddies in the prequel title.
